For the last 4 years we at AOK Corral have taken orders through our own secure merchant system.  As of January 2003 we switched over to having all of our customer orders processed through Paypal's Payment processing.  Why?  In an effort to maintain the most secure, fraud protected system for our customers and our business, we choose to process through Paypal.

Paypal has been a trusted processing company since 1999.  Because their business focus is payment processing they are able to implement the most advanced security measures in regard to payment processing.  At AOK Corral our business focus is crafts and projects, not the latest in online processing.  We did not wish to focus on keeping up with the constant changes required to maintain the most secure system.  Those changes and upgrades were a reality and were costly and time consuming.

In short, Paypal's processing system can stay much more advanced in the latest methods of fraud protection and security.  We have found them to be a safe, secure, and convenient way for us to take your order online.

Data Security and Encryption by Paypal Processor:
"PayPal automatically encrypts your confidential information in transit from your computer to ours using the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL) with an encryption key length of 128-bits (the highest level commercially available).
