These graphs shown are on a 1" x 1" grid.  Draw the pattern by making a 1" x 1" grid on butcher paper (or use many pieces of regular paper taped together)  then draw the lines you see here, onto your graph the same way.

For the shirt cut a rectangular piece of fabric that measures, 22 1/2" x 7"
