Tips & Ideas ~ "I have put up an antique printers box in my bathroom and filled it with antique tins used in the bathroom. Things such as tums containers, old asprin tins, a wooden needle holder, and old glass bottles that contained medicine of that time. It's really unique and I get many compliments on it. Old bars of soap look cute too. It's fun to find the tins and bottles at estate and garage sales." Kelly T. of MO "A dryer sheet works great for cleaning hard water spots and soap scum off of your bathtub and your glass shower doors! It may take 2 but they work better than any other bathroom cleaner I've tried." Christy D. of GA "If you use hair dryers and curling irons and such in your house the can become a tangled mess. I've found that large hair clips (the kind that have teeth and can be pinched open) hold the folded cords beautifully. Use one per appliance. They can then be tossed into a basket with no tangling." Eleanor N. of NC "If you have browning stains in your toilet, pour a can of coke in and let it sit for an hour or two. Then scrub gently and flush. The acids with remove most of that stain." Ashley W. of Alberta "I always hide an air freshner somewhere in the bathroom (the kind you hang in the car) They are small and flat and can be hid in several places." Darija V. of MI |
