1.) Stitch 3 chains (this forms the first double crochet of the new row)

2.) Double crochet 2 times into the corner opening

3.) Stitch 3 chains

4.) Double crochet 3 times into the same corner opening

5.) Stitch 1 chain, then double crochet 3 times into the next corner opening
|
6.) Repeat steps 3, 4, and 5, two more times, then steps 3 and 4 once more

7.) Stitch 1 chain, then slip stitch into the chain 3 from step 1
